Flatout 3 Has GamerX Flatout Angry

Well if you’ve been with us long enough here at GamingAllTheTime.com you would know that I, GamerX, am not much of a racing game fan. I do enjoy some racing games such as Dirt 3 which I am currently playing as a “for fun” game since I got a free coupon with an SSD purchase, but mostly I dislike them. Why? I just never was a big racing game fan. I found them all very visually stimulating and all, however I really suck when it comes to hand braking. Thus when the racer with hand braking was invented, I stopped playing them period. Enter Flatout 3 from Strategy First and Team 6 Studios – a game that was on my docket for review. Since I am not bias when it comes to game genres I gave it my best shot. In short, ouch?

Konami Announces Puddle Now On XBLA

Physics-Based Puzzle Platformer Game and Winner at GDC 2010′s Independent Games Festival Comes to Xbox Live®Arcade

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – January 27, 2012 – Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced that Puddle, a winner in the 2010 GDC Independent Games Festival Student Showcase Division, is now available for Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. A brilliantly designed physics-based puzzle platform game, Puddle initially began as a project from six students from the French videogame school ENJMIN, and was ultimately picked up and developed by Neko Entertainment.

In Puddle, players must guide a puddle of fluid to its target destination, not by moving the fluid, but by tilting the game world. A new experience based on physics and liquid properties, players must work with friction, momentum, and the unique properties of each type of fluid and environment to send as much of each puddle past fires, rifts, spills and more. The challenge lies in the fact that the fluid motion is realistic. If players tilt too quickly, droplets are left behind and if tilted too slowly, they may not be able to make certain jumps. Players also have to control their fluid and safely navigate through pipes, plants, laboratories, a human body, a sewer, a rocket, a foundry and a power station. The end goal- avoid being evaporated away. With endless twists, turns and surprises, Puddle tests puzzle fans like never before in an unparalleled physics-based puzzle platformer title.

Puddle is rated T for Teen by the ESRB and is now available for download on Xbox® LIVE Arcade for 800 Microsoft Points. Puddle will also be available for PlayStation® Network on January 31 for $9.99. For assets and more information please visit www.konami.com/download and www.konami.com/puddle.

It’s About Time To Go Back To The Future

It’s been over twenty years. Doc and Marty have been off the radar as Micheal J Fox developed a disease, and no studio has decided to do a remake or sequel yet. That was however until Telltale Games, the mastermind behind the amazing Sam And Max series decided to brush off the dust and reboot the franchise with a whole new set of stories. Taking place three months after the original movies, Back To The Future The Game is a fresh take on the series taking you further than the previous three movie installments. Wipe that nasty Jurassic Park taste from your mouth, because this game hits all the right nostalgic places in your brain.

Late To The Plate: Bulletstorm Kicks Your Face

Epic has spent most of it’s time working on the Gears of War series for Microsoft, however this past year it released a brand new entry franchise called “Bulletstorm”. When announced we were told that it was going to be an in your face all out mayhem shooting game, way more over the top than Gears of War, and boy did epic have it pegged. Not being able to get the game till the holiday season, I decided it was time to play and review the game that epic poured it’s life-blood into. And I surely wasn’t disappointed.

Does Assassin’s Creed Revelations Hold The Answers?

GATT – GamerX: Being a huge AC fan-boy since the first game hit. I can honestly say I love the franchise. That said, this review is very spoiler heavy and if you don’t care for spoilers please do not continue, because I am going to delve deep into the world that is Desmond Mile’s ancestry. (Mobile included) And finally reveal to us the agenda of the Templars. But does it? Is everything crystal clear after the ending. You’ll have to continue reading to find out.
